Grass and Stairs
We have been working like crazy on our yard lately. We have reached two major milestones - Grass and stairs. That's right when visiting us you no longer have to maneuver the dreaded drive way. You can now walk up nice stairs. Maybe more people will come to visit now. The grass has made a big difference. I liken it to making your bed when you want your room to look clean. Our yard looks bigger and way more inviting.

Jeff is home
A couple of weeks ago Robs little brother Jeff came home from serving a mission in Brazil. We couldn't wait to have him home and now it is like he never left. He is such a cute uncle to Robbie. They get along so well. He is working at the Tuacahn box office with me and helping Rob out a lot with our yard. It is good to have him back!
San Diego Vacation
At the first of August Rob, Robbie and I took a much needed vacation to San Diego. We went with Robs brother Chris and his family. We got to go to sea world, the zoo, the beach, Padres games at Petco Park, and see Wicked! The list goes on and on. I was nervous to take Robbie on such a long trip, but he was so good.
The day we went to the beach was so fun. I put Robbie in the sand and he hated it! He kept touching it and then scowling. I finally had to put him on a towel so he didn't have to sit in it. When we first put him in the water he cried, but then Rob starting playing with him and it was alright after that.
Leslie and I left the boys and went to see Wicked. I have seen it three times now, and I just love it. This was the same cast I saw in SLC in May, except this time I saw the full cast. In SLC there were understudies playing the two main parts.
San Diego is such a pretty city. We got to drive around a lot and see downtown and it was a blast. Sometimes I wish I lived in a big city. They are so cool.

Best of Tuacahn Funnies...thus far
"There is a $5.00 handling PEE per event." - said by me
"So is the Wonderful Wednesday discount...is that on Wednesday?"
"What are you bathrooms like? Are they outhouses?"
"We got tickets for tonight, but my wife has diarrhea." - Gross
"Are there any nights that it doesn't cost to come?"
"I would like tickets for Footless."
"What time does Flash Dance start?"
"Are we supposed to bring our own seats?"

Wicked
The last weekend in April I went to see Wicked at the capitol theatre in Salt Lake City. Last year I went to see it in LA with some box office friends and loved it so much! I knew I had to see it when it came to Utah. Rob was unable to come because he had finals the next week and had to stay home and study. Luckily Stephanie was able to come instead. It was so great to have her. Glinda and Elphaba were both understudies for our performance. Elphaba was amazing, but I thought Glinda struggled with comedic timing. Fieryo was my all time favorite. He was amazing.
I am alreay planning when I can see it again.
When we were in Salt Lake I really wanted to ride Trax. Call me silly, but I had never been on public transportation and I really wanted the experience. So at 9:00pm we headed to a trax station in Sandy and rode all the way downtown to temple square. It was a pretty lonely ride, but fun. The temple was beautiful. When we went to get back on Trax to go back to Sandy the trains were all so crowded because the Jazz game had just ended. We could barely find a place to stand. As we were all standing for the long ride back to the hotel I couldn't help but say..."This is more what I had in mind." What a fun trip.
