Bosco

A while back we had to say goodbye to a dear pet named Bosco. We had been turtle sitting for a year and a half for Rob's little brother Jeff. But Bosco needed a bigger home so we let him go in a pond. As you can tell from the video we were all really sad to see him go...especially Robbie. We visit him at the pond every once in a while but we haven't seen him since. I am sure he is still there swimming around making friends with the goldfish.

6 months and more

Time is going by so quickly with my little boy. I can't believe that he is already 6 months old. He can sit up for minutes at a time now and rolls all over the floor like he owns the place. He sits up best when he has something in his hands and mouth. When he looks to the side he tends to lose balance and fall over so I have to distract him with things like my cell phone. His favorite thing to do it pull a blanket or towel over his face and play peek a boo. We'll keep removing the blanket from his face and he laughs and pulls it back over his face. He has even started to pull the blanket down himself when you say things like "where is the baby?" I am so lucky to be a mother and I'm loving every minute of it.
I know its been forever since I've posted so I'm including pictures from his first food, first trip to Zion, and of course sitting up pictures.

Jenni and Jeff

I have been meaning to post lots of thing lately, but for now I am just going to post some pictures I took of my sister Jenni and her husband Jeff. My sister Jenni has to be one of my most favorite people ever! She is so much fun and such a great example to me. Plus she lets me take pictures of her beautiful face all the time.

Jenni's Family Pics

I've been getting interested in photography lately. Not really to become a photographer, but to make my own family albums look better. Jenni is so nice and lets me practice on her family. They are such good sports, because I am always wanting to take their picture. Of course, I still have a lot to learn, but here are the latest.

B is for Big Boy

Robbie is getting so big. He will be 4 months old next week and I cant believe it. He is such a happy baby, and is always laughing and smiling...unless it is bed time. He fights going to sleep but once he falls asleep he is out. Last night he slept for 11 hours only waking up once to eat. About a week ago he started rolling over. My mom noticed that he was getting close so she picked him up off the floor so I wouldn't miss it while I was at work. She is the best babysitter EVER. Later that night, at Derrik and Amber's house, he did it. I couldn't believe it - he is so stinkin' big. He can roll from him stomach to his back but he is not interested in going the other way yet.
Rob has a heck of a load at work this semester. He is taking a tax class that requires a crazy amount of homework. I hardly ever see him because he is always doing homework, but I am so proud of him and am amazed how much he still helps out with Robbie and housework. I am the luckiest gal around. I love you Rob.

Christmas

Christmas this year was so much fun. I really wanted to stay at my moms house on Christmas eve and Rob was a good sport and came along. I just don't know how many more opportunities we will have to all be together on Christmas morning. My sister Jenni and her family, and my brother Sol and his kids also stayed the night. It was a full house. Little Robbie must have known it was an exciting night because he would not fall asleep. Finally at about 2 am we were headed for bed. Of course Robbie had no idea what was really happening, but it was so much fun to see him on Christmas. Both sets of grandparents spoiled him rotten. In the morning my dad, Rob, and I made breakfast for the family. After breakfast and playing with new toys we headed over to Knowltons to talk to Jeff. It was so great to talk to him! He only has about 8 months left in Brazil before he comes home. I cant wait.

These are the grandkids in their new Christmas pajamas. They were all so excited :)

I have never had a white Christmas before so when it was snowing all night Christmas eve and we woke up with a bunch of snow on the ground I was so excited. Santa even made us a snowman before he left. I understand that we were quite lucky because in St. George (my parents live in Ivins) none of the snow stuck to the ground and they woke up with a wet, mushy Christmas.
